JSC SOFT-TEC is a Russian joint stock company established in 1993 by prominent Russian scientists. The company's expertise is modeling and simulation of microelectronics technology and devices.
Since the beginning of 1993 SOFT-TEC carried out 26 different projects and delivered products to our customers. Among those, 18 projects were commissioned by one of the leading worldwide companies in communication and electronic components manufacturing. The rest of the projects were done for the Russian R&D organizations and semiconductor fabs. The projects' objectives are to reduce costs and cycle time involved into development and manufacturing of semiconductor products by Modeling and Computer Simulation of physical, chemical and electrical processes.
Working with major western and domestic manufacturing companies we have succeeded in development of physical and mathematical approaches, theories, and models for a vast range of phenomena, processes, structures, and devices, and in creating software packages for engineering and scientific applications. Tools and models developed and implemented by SOFT-TEC compare favorably with or excel other commercial simulation packages. Our software is available for various hardware platforms, and operating systems ranging from different flavors of UNIX to Windows NT.
SOFT-TEC maintains close relations with the Russian scientific community.
70% of SOFT-TEC staff have Ph.D. degree. Among them there are 15 Professors, Doctors of Science, who are renowned Russian experts in Microelectronics, Physics, Mechanics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The rest is a talented youth. Diversity of skills and internal flexibility allows these SOFT-TEC valuable human resources to be quickly rearranged to tackle a new task or add support to an existing one.
